I am Marie Maciejko, and I have lived in the same house in Crestwood, Illinois since birth. In Crestwood, I attend catholic grammar school and continued on to Mother McAuley, a catholic high school. Mother McAuley is located in the city of Chicago, and this is where I discovered my love for art. I took multiple art classes such as drawing, painting, graphic design, and advance placement art. Because Mother McAuley is a liberal arts school I had many opportunities to show case my work in different local galleries.
After my four years at Mother McAuley, I decided to continue my love for art and become an art education major at the University of Illinois. The University of Illinois has a wonderful art program and I am excelling everyday in class. I look forward to see how much I progress at the end of these four years. |
